چکیده

The objective of this study is to investigate the effect bio-heat transfer from large blood vessels on freezing region size tumorous liver tissue using cryo-freezing method. Bio-heat transfer, one cancer treatment method, in has been investigated experimentally method for vessels. Investigated parameters are mass flow rate, diameter vessel, number and location tissue. Study carried out nine different rates varying 10 g/min 1200 g/min. Tissues without with single, double branched used experimental study. Vessels inner 2.4, 3.2 4.0 mm used. Liver beef employed as a Refrigerant nitrogen protoxide gas. Results show that tissue, rate affect size. Freezing decreases increasing vessel rate. located near affects time destroy tumor. desired obtained develops later than vessel. indicate about 23 may be destroyed short when gas refrigerant

Analysis of Bio-heat Transfer Problem Using Finite Element Approach

Bio-heat transfer is the study of external or internal heat transfer in the biological body. In different therapeutic treatments especially in cancer treatment, heat is used to cure infected cells. The required temperature that will kill the infected cell should be known before starting the thermal treatment on human tissue. The useful ways to measure the temperature distribution on human tissu...

Freezing in a Finite Slab Using Extensive Perturbation Expansions Method

In this paper Mathematica is used to solve the moving boundary problem of freezing in a finite slab for higher order perturbations. Mathematica is a new system which makes it possible to do algebra with computer. More specifically, it enables researchers to find the location of the ice at any time for as high order of perturbation as one whishes. Using of Mathematica and outer solution and an i...

An Application of the Finite Volume Method to the Bio-heat-transfer-equation in Premature Infants

Abstract. In this report the development of a finite volume method for the time-accurate simulation of the temperature distribution in a premature infant inside an incubator or in an open radiant warmer is described. The real geometry of a premature infant is obtained from MRT-images. The infants thermoregulation is modelled by the so-called bio-heat-transfer-equation incorporating source terms...
